Teddy Bear Cake
If you want to make a Teddy Bear Cake to serve your guests at the Teddy Bear Picnic, you are in luck. Betty Crocker has a how-to video and all the templates you need on its website. It could not be easier for you to bake the bear of your birthday child's dreams. This bear can be frosted to create any type of bear. Frost with black and white to make a panda bear. Use different shades of brown to create a cuddly brown bear. For a polar bear, frost with white, then accent with grays and black. For directions and full details, click here.
Paw Print Cupcakes
These paw print cupcakes are the perfect dessert for your teddy bear picnic birthday party. They are delicious and quick and easy to make. Use the birthday child's favorite cake flavor and icing color to bake and frost the cupcakes. Make the paw prints on each cupcake by using one Junior Mint and 4 upside down chocolate chips to resemble a bear's paw.

How to Make a Candy Land Cake
If a birthday child in your family loves cake, candy and the game Candy Land, I have a party cake for you. In a recent Taste of Home - Fun Food magazine (it will be on sale until August 30, 2010) I saw the best party cake ever. With a Candy Land game board as your guide and lots of different candies, you can create easily this sensational party dessert. The end product is magnificent even though the directions are very simple to follow. The path is made with Starburst candies. The Gumdrop pass is made with Dots. Lollipops, miniature marshmallows, peppermints, candy canes and conversation hearts fill out the board. For a picture of this creation and full directions, go to the Taste of Home website.
