How to Throw a Queen of Hearts Valentine's Day Party - Games

One fabulous game for this party is called Steam My Heart.  To play this game you will need a bowl of candy hearts and a set of chop sticks for each guest.

To set up, place a bowl of candy hearts on a flat surface within easy reach of the players and hand each guest a pair of chopsticks.

Set a time for about two to five minutes, depending on the age of your guests, the number of candy hearts and the number of guests.  At the "Go" contestants start removing hearts from the bowl using only the chopsticks, placing them in front of themselves.  When time is up, the player with the most hearts wins.

After this game, you may want to play Queen Says, like Simon Says.

Set up a croquet set inside or out and organize a simplified version of the game.  End up with a game of two of cards, like Hearts, Go Fish or Old Maid.
