In Argentina, soccer/football fans love to eat grilled burgers at the stadium. This easy recipe will produce a mini version in under 30 minutes.
1 1/2 pound lean ground beef
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/2 cup Colby Jack cheese, shredded
1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Step One: In large bowl, mix beef, egg, shredded cheese, Panko bread crumbs and ketchup. Shape mixture into 8 patties, 3 1/2 inches in diameter.
Step Two: Heat 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat; add vegetable oil to cover the bottom of skillet. Add patties; cook about 5 minutes on each side or until meat thermometer inserted in center reads 160 degrees F.
Step Three: Serve sliders on biscuits. Carefully split biscuits. Spread desired condiments on split sides of each biscuit. Top bottoms of biscuits with patties and biscuit tops.
