You will think you are eating warm cinnamon sugar donuts, but they are really biscuits, and they are baked, not fried!
2/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits with flaky layers
Step One: Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly grease cookie sheets.
Step Two: In small shallow bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon; mix well. Separate dough in 10 biscuits. Separate each biscuit into 3 to 4 layers. Dip each layer in melted butter; coat both sides with cinnamon sugar mixture. Place 1 inch apart on greased cookie sheets.
Step Three: Bake at 400 degrees F for 6 to 8 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
