Coming soon - How to Throw a Sensational Safari Party!

Your little "lion" or "gazelle" will "roar" after you pull off a Sensational Safari party just for them. Although a trip to Africa can't be beat, I have some great ideas for safari activities to make a fun party at home. Come back here on Friday, September 10, 2010 to see the full Safari Party plan. It will include suggestions for everything from invitations to activities that are sure to provide a healthy dose of adventure for all the little Jungle Jims and Janes in attendance.

Bug Juice Smoothies

This yogurt-based blender drink gets its crazy color from the assortment of fruits that you use. For a special touch sprinkle each glass with crunchy granola for a tasty topping.

1 container (two pounds) strawberry yogurt - can use 99% fat-free
2 cups frozen blueberries
2 cups frozen strawberries
2 cups orange juice

Step One: Place half of each ingredient in blender. Cover and blend on high speed about 30 seconds or until smooth. Pour into 4 glasses.

Step Two: Repeat with remaining ingredients. Pour into remaining 4 glasses. Serve immediately.

Makes 8 servings (about 1 cup each)
