Flip Flop Cake

Create the center piece of your party by baking a delicious pair of colorful sandals. These flip flop cakes are easy to make. Simply bake a 13x9-inch cake according to package directions. Any flavor will do. Once you remove the cake from the pan, cool it about one hour more. Then cut the cake in half lengthwise. Make a paper template from a pair of flip flops. Then using the template, cut one flip flop from each half. Freeze cut pieces uncovered about one hour for easier frosting. Use frosting and candies to decorate flip flops.
