Submarine Sandwiches

Your party goers are sure to love these submarine sandwiches. They are very easy to make and easy to transport outside to eat. A perfect treat for the tie-dyed party!

Mayo or Miracle Whip
Mustard
1 loaf (20 inches) French bread, unsliced
24 slices of cheese (provolone, mozzarella, muenster or Colby jack)
24 slices of fully cooked ham
10 bread and butter pickle stackers
Lettuce leaves, optional

Step One: Cut bread in half lengthwise. Spread mayo or Miracle Whip on the bottom of the bread. Spread mustard on the top of the bread.

Step Two: Top bottom half with cheese and ham; add pickles. Add lettuce, if desired. Replace the top. Cut into two-inch slices. Insert a decorative sandwich pick in each slice to hold layers of sandwich together.
