Pirate Punch

Your little pirates may never return to traditional lemonade after they try this refreshingly fruity cooler straight from the Caribbean.

1/2 cup sugar
6 cups pineapple juice, chilled
1 cup key lime juice
2 liters lime-flavored sparkling water, chilled
Maraschino cherries, if desired

Step One: Mix sugar and juices in large plastic or glass pitcher. Pour half of mixture into another pitcher.

Step Two: Just before serving, stir sparkling water into juice mixture. Serve over ice. Garnish each glass with some maraschino cherries skewered on small plastic beverage swords.

Hint: You can mix the sugar and juices and refrigerate them for up to two days before adding the sparkling water.
