This delicious concoction is easy to make and requires no baking. After cake has frozen for about two hours, you can decorate top with decorator icings or gels available in the baking aisle of your supermarket. Or add some theme-appropriate collectible miniature figurines or ornaments.
19 ice cream sandwiches
1 carton (12 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 jar (12 ounces) hot fudge ice cream topping
1 cup candy coated chocolate candies
Step One: Cut one ice cream sandwich in half. Place one whole and one half sandwich along the short side of an ungreased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Arrange eight sandwiches in opposite direction in the pan. Spread with half of the whipped topping. Spoon fudge topping by teaspoonfuls onto whipped topping. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup candy coated chocolate candies.
Step Two: Repeat layers with remaining ice cream sandwiches, whipped topping and candy coated chocolate candies.
Step Three: Cover and freeze for up to 2 months. Remove from freezer 20 minutes before serving. Cut into squares.
